That is a great knowledge to have. Something I did not know. TU
Ms. Kellene, You are a woman with many talents! With all of your Blogs, I was wondering if there WAS a “real” Kellene! (ha ha!) Alas, you do exist – and I find that the things we do not already have in common are the traits I’ve been interested in developing anyway. Fascinating!
Anyway, I have a question if you have time
I’ve long known I needed to purchase a pressure cooker and learn to use it for canning (My Mother and Grandmother do, but failed to teach me the art) and cooking. I don’t know though, what to look for in a cooker to use for both – or even if I CAN use a single cooker for both. I’ve looked online for this information, but decided that asking someone I “know” would yield the best results.
Thanks for your help!!!
Vicki, You can use a pressure canner to cook in and can in, but I don’t recommend that you use a pressure cooker to can in. If you go to my Preparednesspro.wordpress blog and search “canning meat” you will find the information I recommend for canning. It’s actually VERY simple. I think our mohters took its simplicity for granted when we were growing up perhaps.
Thanks sister – I’ll check on your canning rec’s!!
Love your blog. Can you tell me where the amazing picture of Captain Moroni came form on your post…”Do We Have the Freedom to Be Apathetic?” Would love to see other works from the artist.
Cory, I’m sorry. I know I’ve been asked that before and didn’t have the answer cause I don’t come up with the pics. But I will forward your request to the person who does and get the answer.
Thanks for your patience.
Thanks. It’s a great picture and I am hoping there are other works form this artist.
